Precious Dorothy, your 1-year milestone session was as sweet as sugar! As Leesburg VA photographers, these one-year milestone sessions are our favorite way to end the first year of photographing these tiny little ones. This baby girl gave us something extra special to document during her session!
Dorothy’s 1-year Milestone Session with Leesburg VA Photographers
After photographing Dorothy for her newborn session in our Gainesville, VA studio, it was so fun having her and her family back in for her one-year milestone session. I’ve loved getting to know this crew and being able to relate to her Mama, who is also a small business owner!
The absolute best part of this session was that Dorothy took her first official steps in the studio on this very day!! I can still hardly believe we caught it on camera. How incredible is that?! Mom and Dad even managed to sneak in a shot or two on their phones to document this “big girl” achievement.

Working with EGP always includes a wardrobe consultation and access to our entire studio wardrobe. We’ve been curating this collection for the last five years and love how much clients rave about the experience.
As a mom, there is honestly nothing better than not having to stress over what my entire family will wear during our yearly sessions, and we feel strongly about giving you the same experience when you work with us!
For this session, Mom chose two adorable outfits for Dorothy, and I loved the pieces she chose for herself and Dad. Keeping the wardrobe complimentary (vs. too matchy matches) creates a lovely, put-together look for the entire session, and they did an amazing job with their choices!
