To all the first-time parents out there, I know just how overwhelming this new journey can be. The first few months before your baby arrives are filled with excitement, anticipation, and a lot of preparation. We read countless books, attend parenting and birthing classes, and spend hours decorating the nursery. But the journey to parenthood is also filled with so much joy and wonder.
As a photographer serving the Fairfax, VA, community, I love welcoming clients to my studio. Celebrating this special season with all of you first-time parents is the best.
Newborn Photographer Fairfax VA
I loved having this precious family in my Fairfax, VA studio to celebrate the arrival of their baby girl. As first-time parents, they knew their world would never be the same, but the joy this baby girl has brought them is heartwarming! Plus, she and I share the same name! How fun is that?
Emily was such a snuggly baby for her session and loved being swaddled for her close-ups. Mom and Dad were both so calm and relaxed, which meant baby girl was too!
Mom chose from the Client Closet for her dress, and I love that she chose a pink one in honor of her sweet girl. We kept things super simple and Emily with a white swaddle and bow.
Choosing favorites from these sessions is always a challenge, but I especially loved the detail images from this session! We were able to document the sweetest picture of Emily holding onto Mama’s finger. It’s just unbelievable sometimes to look back on these moments and realize how tiny these babies once were. It happens so quickly, even if sometimes the days feel like they will last forever!
These three were honestly dream clients, and I can’t wait to watch baby Emily grow over the next few months!
