Baby Boy’s Session with Leesburg Newborn Photographer

There’s nothing quite like being welcomed into a client’s home as a newborn photographer. As a Leesburg Newborn Photographer, it’s such a beautiful experience to capture some of those first precious days together as a new family in their own space. It never gets old, and seeing the love and excitement on their faces is truly heartwarming.

An In-Home Session with Leesburg Newborn Photographer

This precious little one was so fun to work with. I loved laughing with his mom and dad about how ridiculous these newborn days are. You’re truly more tired than you’ve ever been, but you’re equally overjoyed and amazed by this tiny, new human. As a mom, I know the nuance of holding both of those feelings (and many more) simultaneously.

I love that Oliver’s mom and dad chose to have his newborn session at home. Everything about the day felt so calm and relaxed. Mom chose from the Studio Wardrobe for the whole family, which made getting ready before the session a breeze!

Oliver’s Nursery

Oliver’s nursery was so beautiful, and I loved the gorgeous wallpaper Mom and Dad chose. We also made sure to document the heirloom pieces Mom chose to use for him.

The crib Oliver sleeps in every night was also a safe place to land for Mom and her siblings when they were babies. They also included a beautiful painting her grandmother made. She passed away just before we shot the session, so it made including it even more meaningful.

Oliver’s big brother also made an appearance for the session and was the sweetest. He loved telling me all about his new baby, and I loved that you could tell how excited he was. He loved being snuggled up with Mom to rock baby Oliver and loved their time for portraits, just the two of them!

Emily shot an at-home newborn session for my family and it was SO worth it! 5 stars from start to finish…her communication and prep before our session was top notch, she made our whole family feel comfortable during the session and we got our full portfolio in less than 3 days. She brought a beautiful wardrobe for me and the kids (she has mens clothes too but we already had an outfit for my husband). I really appreciated how she paid such close attention to all the details — she composed every shot and made sure we got every pose we wanted. Highly recommend!
