Denise e-mailed me back in the winter, telling me that she had seen JB’s newborn portraits and loved my work. I was SO flattered! Denise, her husband Guy and son Max were coming to visit the Dow’s from Michigan this summer and she wanted to have some senior portraits taken of Max and a few of their family. They are my first family to TRAVEL to VA and hire me to take their pictures. Pretty awesome.
I had never worked with a senior guy, but Max was so goofy and easy to work with. I loved that he let his personality come through in this pictures. Max is a huge dog lover and wanted some pictures taken with all the dogs, toward the end of the session we had completely random dogs getting in pictures with Max. He also loves to hunt, so we incorporated that into his pictures as well. Guy and Denise were such a sweet couple, I am so glad they were up for anything!
