In-Studio Newborn Session Baby Cooper

I loved this newborn photography session with this beautiful family of three! Casey and I have known each other for some time, as we actually attended high school together. It was not until she was celebrating her honeymoon with her now husband, and Mark and I were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary on a trip to Grenada that our worlds collided. Luckily, our husbands became fast friends and we enjoyed spending time with them while on our trip. It turns out it’s just under a two hour trip from their home to ours in Gainesville, Virginia.

We planned for an in studio newborn session for Casey and Tanner pending their little one’s arrival. This was an extra special newborn session for me because they chose to wait and find out the baby’s gender at birth!  I love surprises since we also waited to find out whether we were welcoming a baby boy or baby girl into our family during each of our pregnancies! I was still on maternity leave with our third baby when we scheduled this session, and it was nice to have a little break and take these newborn photos for a dear mama friend.

The beautiful dress Casey wore was from my client wardrobe which is provided for all of my clients, along with styling assistance! Their wonderful family were the perfect models, making this in-studio session such a breeze.
