In-Studio Lifestyle Newborn Session Baby Emma

I was so thrilled to work with this family for baby Emma’s in-studio lifestyle newborn session. I met this family more than five years ago for big sister Ella’s at-home newborn session, and it was wonderful to see them after so much time!

When Kim reached out, sharing news that they were expecting their second baby girl I was so thrilled! Five years ago, I had the honor to capture big sister Ella’s birth photos and newborn portraits, so it was even more special to see their family grow! 

As you can imagine, Ella was over the moon about welcoming a new baby sister into the family. Kim told me that while they had not always planned to expand their family, after hearing Ella repeatedly praying for a baby brother or sister at night, their hearts softened to the idea. 

Kim opted for an in-studio session for baby Emma’s session and took full advantage of the studio wardrobe and styling assistance. Being able to help a mama pick something she feels beautiful in, especially in the first few weeks of her little one’s life, is so important to ensuring everyone loves what we capture!
