Evelyn’s birth is the first that Ive witnessed where no one knew the babies gender beforehand, and let me tell you there is nothing like it. Especially because I am already so close to this family, being able to witness Evelyn’s birthday and see her parents faces light up when they realized their fifth baby is a little girl was indescribable. (who wasn’t hoping it was going to be a girl, right?!) If you’ve ever witnessed a ‘gender reveal’ like this you’ll know what I’m talking about! 

There are so many images below that I love, images that remind me how lucky I am to get to do this “job”.  Rachel face-timing her bigger babies before and after Evelyn made her appearance, hearing Olivia squeal when she found out she has a baby sister, the kids seeing Evelyn for the first time through the hospital window due to visitor age restrictions with the flu floating around, Poppy and Nanny meeting their new grand baby, and obviously Mom and Dad’s face when they found out their baby was a girl! I think this has to be my new favorite birth!
