As DC Photographers, we have some of the most amazing clients on the East Coast! I truly can’t get over how amazingly blessed I’ve been these last few years with just how amazing these families are. Benjamin’s family has quickly become one of my favorites, and I loved having them in the studio for this special milestone!

I immediately said yes when Benjamin’s mom contacted me about doing a 100-Day Milestone in the studio for him. The 100 Days Celebration (also known as Baek-Il) is part of their Korean heritage, and it was such an honor to help Benjamin’s family document this important milestone.
Benjamin is by far one of the sweetest, most joyful little guys. He gave us some precious expressions, and I couldn’t get over his chunky little arms!
His big sister was also a hoot! She loved the session just as much as the grown-ups, and we had the best time laughing together! Some of my favorite images from this session are the details and the portraits of Benjamin with his sweet sister!
Mom wanted to keep the wardrobe simple and sweet with an all-white look for everyone. She also chose a beautiful blue floral dress for part of the session, and I loved the way it photographed in the detail images.
Including Toddlers In Your Sessions with DC Photographers
In just a few weeks, I’ll be sharing a post all about how to prep your toddler for your newborn sessions with DC photographers. Some Mamas worry if it’s a good idea with rambunctious little ones, but I can assure you it absolutely is.
I’ll give you some helpful pointers (from which snacks to bring to how to time your session) to ensure your session is as seamless and enjoyable as possible for your whole crew!

“Smooth and stress-free photoshoot. It was rough trying to get my 2-year-old toddler dressed and out of the house for the photo shoot, but once we got there, Emily and her assistant were so sweet and good with both of our babies. This mama got to relax and try on some dresses that Emily had for me. My husband, who hates photoshoots and grumbled the whole way there, enjoyed the experience as well! Most importantly, the photos came out beautifully. We love our pictures.”
