Outdoor Lifestyle Family Photography | Vandivier Family

As an ode to the end of summer, I wanted to share this beautiful outdoor lifestyle family photography session. 

The Vandivier family was amazing to work with! I first met them over four years ago when I captured their oldest baby’s newborn session. Thanks to many moves, a few new babies, and a pandemic, it made it nearly impossible to schedule a session. When we were finally able to get them back on the calendar for another family photography session, they had their sweet baby girl, and the kids’ grandparents in tow! 

We spent a lovely afternoon surrounded by greenery and nature, laughing and capturing memories. Outdoor sessions of any kind are always so much fun. Your children can run around with their curiosity as their guide, and you get to relax and focus on being yourselves in front of the camera. These siblings were so sweet and loving with each other as they played in the forest together. 

For the styling of this session, the whole family wore pieces from my studio wardrobe. I aim to offer many different dresses and styles in my client closet that will fit any session, any location, and all different body types.  We intentionally kept the styling simple with more neutral, earth tones to balance the scenery behind them.
