Riley | Charlotte NC | Newborn Photographer

Right before Christmas I made my way to Charlotte, NC with one of my oldest friends, Devon, to meet her first niece! Devon and I had talked about this newborn session before we knew Riley was a girl, quite honestly before anyone knew her brother Derek, and sister-in-law Terri, were expecting at all! Their family had anxiously awaited Riley’s arrival for what felt like forever and were overjoyed to welcome her to the world. Newborn sessions require plenty of patience which usually means I get to spend hours talking and getting to know the family, or in this case, making a delicious dinner to allow as much time as possible for Dev to snuggle her new niece! Derek and Terri, thank you for allowing me to capture your sweet girl, & Devon you were the best road trip buddy allowing me to eat bojangles in your car and ride with my feet on the dash (and for the behind the scenes shot)!
