Dreamy Twin Nursery Ideas | Inspiring Gender Neutral Twin Nursery For 2 Babies

Welcome to our Twin Nursery Ideas gender-neutral nursery tour! If you’re expecting twins soon or one sweet new bundle, this post all about twin nursery ideas is the one for you! This is one of my favorite posts, all about how we brought the inspiration for Lou and Henry’s nursery to life!

Gender Neutral Twin Nursery Ideas

Our babies aren’t so little anymore, but I still love these images and the memories made in this gender neutral twin nursery in our home so much. Because we had always planned to keep our baby’s gender a surprise when we became pregnant, we knew a neutral nursery was in the cards. The challenge became making the space work for not only one baby but two, so I am thrilled to share their room for your twin nursery ideas!

While planning, I gave my husband, Mark, two ideas of what direction to take the gender neutral twin nursery. One included shiplap (spoiler alert, Mark picked shiplap), and one included wallpaper. Since we spent too many weekends to count removing wallpaper from Mark’s first office, he wouldn’t agree to put it up in our, and shiplap it was!

From there, the room started to fall together perfectly with a little help from our inspiration board filled with gender neutral  twin nursery ideas. We drew tons of inspiration from Pottery Barn, watched their website for sales, and used gift cards to splurge on some of our favorite pieces while upcycling some items from around the house. We also received a handful of gifts from friends and family, making this space feel intentional and special. It quickly became one of our favorite rooms in our home.

While we never picked an official theme other than keeping it a gender neutral twin nursery (I resisted any “themes”), after getting a few stuffed animal lambs paired with my of my love for white, and some pops of green in the room, we love how everything came together.

Seeing every detail of our gender-neutral nursery haven for our boy-girl twins even years later still brings me so much joy, its like I am transported back in time! It was by far my favorite room in our house (and the only room I wouldn’t change a thing about it!), and it’s grown with them beautifully over the years.

Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for details of where we sourced everything and for more twin nursery ideas!
