I love birth photography, but what I think I love more is getting to follow my clients and friends through their entire pregnancy to newborn journey. I love the anticipation and excitement they have at their maternity session, the focus during their labor, the radiating love in the few hours following their birth and the peace they have at their newborn session.

This is especially true for Katie, Stephen, Rachel and Zach as I watched them transform from a family of 4 to now a family of 5. I am blessed to call them my friends and even more blessed they welcomed me in to their home for Lucas’s lifestyle newborn session last week. They even let me wear out my welcome and snuggle Lucas for a few minutes after we had finished their session! Wait until you see how sweet his big brother and sister are with him!
