In-Studio Newborn Session | Teddy

Teddy’s in-studio newborn session was incredibly special, with an amazing story behind his journey into his family. It’s been an honor to work with them for their oldest son Felix’s newborn and milestone photos, and now Teddy’s as well. 

Abby is a wonderful person and mama, an unbelievably talented photographer, and a dear friend. She shot our first anniversary photos and the branding photos seen on my website! Abby and her husband adopted their oldest son Felix, and I was so excited when she asked me to fly down to Florida to capture their family meeting Teddy for the first time. 

Welcoming Teddy into their family was a whirlwind, and it was amazing that I got to be there to document their journey to him and first moments together. I cannot express the absolute joy and love that was in the room when Abby first held Teddy in her arms; it was an experience I will never forget. 

For Teddy’s newborn session, Abby looked completely stunning in the dress from my studio wardrobe. We recreated a shot that we got from Felix’s newborn session, and it was magical. When you capture a uniquely precious moment like that, you just know right away it’s something rare and special. I cannot wait to have Teddy and his beautiful family back in the studio for his milestone sessions.
