Baby Felix’s Newborn Studio Session

Baby Felix is too cute for words!   This adorable bundle of joy was my first official Studio session and I’m over the moon to share it (and him) with you. 

One of the many things I love about this session is how alert Felix was! Typically, during newborn session’s baby is asleep the majority of the time (I’ll usually shoot during in the mornings around 10:30 am until about 12:30 pm) but Felix gave us a few waking moments to capture his baby blues.  He’s such a sweet baby and working with him in the studio was heavenly for me! 

My objective is to guide you through a sequence of natural interactions with your newborn. I don’t put babies in containers or contort them into unnatural poses, rather, I use beautiful light to focus on the emotional connection between your baby and their family members. It’s so important to me that I capture the natural beauty of a moment. Having the studio with bright, airy, comfortable space allows me to focus on what’s truly important- you (and her your sweet babe, of course).

For newborn sessions, I also like to keep it as stress-free as possible. This includes providing some wardrobe options. I love that new Mama Abby took advantage of this – this really helps to eliminate worry and stress! New mamas have enough on their plate –  I’m here to make this experience as joyful and in the moment as possible.
